Wheatlands Wonderland
So after having to work on Valentines Day (albeit receiving a beautiful bouquet of flowers from Mr. S), I was surprised with a overnight getaway to the Lake District.
I adore the Lake District whether in the sunshine or the rain. We visited this Summer with the Salters so this trip brought back lots of great memories. We stayed at a beautiful hotel called the Wheatlands. It was perfect right down to being greeted by the adorable Baxter (their spaniel dog). Here are a few photos of our brief time there.
